In the beginning of the 2000s, companies became interested in indirect procurement. After optimising direct procurement, financial managements and buyers turned to indirect procurement and quickly saw that there was a high potential for optimisation. When it was created, EPSA was clearly positioned on indirect procurements and notably on Travel, considerable expenses which represented a significant share of non-production procurements. Expertise developed over time and EPSA is now able to assist their customers with almost all the procurement groups within businesses.
In 2011, EPSA took on a new dimension with the class C BPO procurement offer. After 3 years, the BPO continues to increase, with the integration of the Fare Trade Salamander Group.
In 2015, a new field was covered by the group: the optimisation of national insurance and tax contributions. With this new offer, EPSA positioned themselves as the experts working on behalf of companies to optimise their contributions and expenses, and their goal is to be the reference for companies in these areas.
